Vivo has launched its new smartphone IQOO 5 in China. It was launched in China on 17 August 2020, but may launch in India on 23 October 2020. It has base variant 8GB & 128GB, mid-variant 12GB & 128GB and top variant 12GB & 256 GB, priced at around Rs 43,400, Rs 43,600 and Rs 49,900 respectively. Vivo launched this smartphone in black and blue two colors. It has a 4500 mAh non-removable battery and 55W charging support, which gives this smartphone full charge in 50 minutes. Its dimensions are 160.04mm x 75.60 mm x 8.32mm and weight is 197 grams.
Display & Processor
It has a full HD+ AMOLED display of 6.56 inches, whose display resolution is 2376 x 1080 pixels, 398 PPi density, 120Hz refresh rate, protection type Gorilla Glass and GPU Adreno 650. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, with a primary clock speed of 2.84 GHz. Its operating system is Android 10 and the user interface is IQOO UI 1.5.

The primary camera of IQOO 5 is 50 megapixel f / 1.85, Ultra Wide Camera 13 megapixel f / 2.2, depth camera 13 megapixel f / 2.46 and front camera 16 megapixel f / 2.45. It has fingerprint sensor under the display. It has face unlock, Ambient light sensor, magnetic induction sensor, Gyroscope, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer etc.
Storage, Battery & Connectivity
The IQOO 5 has storage support for LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1, the smartphone’s base variant 8GB RAM & 128GB Storage, mid-variant 12GB & 128GB and top variant 12GB & 256 GB. It has a 4500 mAh lithium-ion battery and 55W charging support.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi direct, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/ ac, USB Type C, Bluetooth version 5.1 and 3.5mm earphone jack etc.
